Your Fear Is Their Power

The world is more afraid than at any other time since 1945. Fear might be a natural response to the dangers of the world, but the world itself has never been less dangerous for the average person. This apparent paradox can be explained by the fact that the vast majority of this moment’s fear is artificially created. This essay explains by who and why.

Fear inclines people to submission. It leads them to bend the knee to whatever local power is in charge at the time. Fear induces the weak to fall in line with authority. As such, authorities make every effort to generate as much fear among their subjects as possible. The essence of authoritarianism is fear.

This is why political religions such as Christianity and Islam have sought to slaughter as many heretics/infidels as possible. Murdering non-believers spreads terror among them, which makes them less likely to resist. The reason why most of Europe became Christian and most of the Middle East became Muslim is because they were terrorised into submission by the violent atrocities committed by followers of these cults.

The origin of fear is biological: it’s a natural reaction to an overwhelming threat. We evolved to feel anger and rage towards threats that we could destroy, and fear towards threats that we couldn’t. In this sense, anger is the masculine expression and fear the feminine expression of the same underlying sentiment: a rejection of life.

Back in the biological past, those who did not feel fear when confronted with a stronger, dominant primate were destroyed by them. Those who did feel fear, and who thereby submitted, were allowed to live. Over time, this led to a species that learned to bend the knee to those capable of inducing fear. This tendency is the reason for all the terrorism in the world.

Our current ruling class understands this and preys on those same sentiments. Their strategy is to terrorise the masses into submission so that we don’t organise to force our will on them. The more fear we feel, the less likely we are to meet our fellow man in the bonds of love necessary to create a united front against our oppressors.

There are three ways that this terrorisation is achieved, one for each of the three basic divisions of the human being. This means to terrorise body, mind and soul.

Bodily terror is induced by deliberate destruction of the physical environment. This is achieved in several ways, but the most important of these is the mass importation of foreign violent criminals into Western cities and towns. The ruling class knows that these foreigners will rob and rape the natives to a much higher degree than the natives will rob and rape each other – but that’s precisely why they let them in.

For a native Westerner to walk down a Western street, and to see a Muslim or African staring back at him with a face full of hate, causes the kind of fear that induces that Westerner to submit. The reason for the mass importation of Muslims and Africans to the West in recent decades is not, as is commonly claimed, to fortify the pension system. It is to terrorise the native Western population into submission, and thereby to fortify the position of the Western ruling classes.

Mental terror is induced by the apparatus of propaganda, which, in all Western countries, is controlled by the international banking and finance interests that comprise most of the ruling classes. The spearhead of this apparatus of propaganda is the television, which spews out fear and hate 24/7. The average American watches television for 166 minutes every day. Most of this time, they’re being taught to fear the outside world.

The mainstream media brings endless news of war and crisis and death and torture, and directly to the living room of everyone with a television. Although most television watchers are unaware of the effect these impressions have on their minds, the truth is that the subconscious of each of them is terrified by all this bad news, and comes to believe that the world is a fearful and awful place.

Combined with the fear generated by the destruction of public spaces after they are filled with hostile foreigners, the end result is an unwillingness to go outside at all, much less organise in the streets against the ruling class.

Spiritual terror is induced by what is called the Clown World Fork: either a person worships Yahweh, or one is not allowed to worship anything. All genuine spiritual traditions are strongly discouraged. Anyone who consumes spiritual sacraments to commune with God, as their ancestors did for thousands of years, goes to prison.

The Abrahamic cults were invented specifically to induce spiritual terror. Most Westerners have it smashed into their heads as children that they must worship Rabbi Yeshua ben Yosef, son of Yahweh, or burn in eternal hellfire. Atheistic materialism is presented as the alternative, but it has the same ultimate effect: to induce terror of death. This terror follows naturally from the presumption that consciousness is extinguished with the death of the physical body.

All of this bodily, mental and spiritual terror induces submission, which affords the ruling class the ability to impose their desired order. This is the meaning behind the occult phrase “Ordo Ab Chao” (order out of chaos). The terror induced by physical, mental and spiritual chaos leads to submission, and that submission gives the ruling class the opportunity to propose their desired solutions and to have the masses gratefully accept them.

Political History Follows A Reverse Sawtooth Wave Function

We live in a world of explicate order. Because this order is hard to understand, the events of our lives often seem random, or at least unpredictable. But understanding the implicate order underneath the surface phenomena can give us great insight into how those phenomena will develop. Within this implicate order are the repeating patterns of history.

A sawtooth wave is a pattern like a sine wave, only the rise is much slower and the fall much faster. The sawtooth wave pattern is often seen in Nature, such as when a population slowly grows until it has consumed all available resources, and then plummets sharply. The reverse sawtooth wave is the same except the rise is extremely rapid, and the descent gradual.

Political history follows this pattern of a reverse sawtooth wave. If we imagine that the x-axis is time and the y-axis is the quality of leadership, a distinct pattern can be observed. The quality of political leadership gets gradually worse and worse over time until a revolutionary vanguard of high-quality leaders, excluded from the old system, overthrow that system and institute a new one.

This pattern is so old that Plato was able to write about it 2,300 years ago. Book VIII of Republic recounts the political cycle as observed by Plato. It begins with humanity’s natural rulers – an aristocracy of philosopher-kings – in charge. This leads to an initial state of maximum happiness but, over time, bad decisions are made when it comes to selecting new rulers from among the young people, and the quality of leadership starts to degrade.

The cumulative effect of these bad decisions is that the ruling class comes to think less about wisdom or rectitude and more about honour. This leads to a high-spirited militarism which creates more suffering than the enlightened benevolence of the philosopher-kings. This alone wouldn’t be so bad, if it didn’t lead to further degradation.

The tension between the aristocratic way of governing and what Plato called the timocratic way of governing leads to another step downwards, in the form of oligarchy. Eventually, rulers stop valuing money as an instrument to honour and start valuing it for its own sake. Once money starts determining who may hold public office, oligarchy is in effect.

This isn’t the end. Once money rules, people start using it to indulge their unnecessary desires. This leads to a base form of man taking control – the democratic man. The democratic man follows no higher order. He simply lurches from one whimsy to another. Much like today’s Baby Boomers, the democratic man lives a life of pure indulgence. This has serious consequences, in particular the rise of the tyrannical man.

Once people start living for indulgences instead of virtue, and society loses all discipline, the lowest form of man takes control. This is a man motivated by base lusts and consumed by lawless desires – the tyrant. His spiritual functions are entirely absent. Rule by tyrant leads to immense suffering, especially when contrasted by rule with philosopher-king.

This immense suffering brings about the humility necessary for people to finally listen to the philosopher-kings, instead of indulging their base desires. Chastened by the hangover of their indulgence, the people recognise the philosopher-kings as the most excellent among them, and make them leaders. This aristocratic revolution reinstalls the philosopher-kings as the ruling class, whereupon the cycle begins anew.

In Republic, Plato suggests that this pattern of gradual decline leading to revolution is inevitable, owing to the inevitable imperfections within each successive generation of people. This idea – that perfection existed in the past but decayed as time progressed – is one that the ancient Greeks shared with their co-religionists in ancient India, but not with today’s Westerners.

Most Westerners today adhere to an erroneous view of history that follows a regular sawtooth wave, in which progress is slowly made until resources are exhausted, at which point the system collapses. This regular sawtooth wave pattern is more typical of material phenomena, whereas the reverse sawtooth wave pattern is more typical of spiritual phenomena. It follows that history is fundamentally a spiritual phenomenon.

A modern understanding of political psychology sheds some light on how this could be possible. The potential risk in allowing society to degenerate one step further is small, whereas the potential risk in revolution is massive. Therefore, the temptation is to “kick the can down the road”. The best, most recent example of this phenomenon is the money printing of the last 14 years in response to the Global Financial Crisis.

So the future of Clown World is easy to predict. Our political difficulties, and our suffering, will both further intensify. At some point, people will get so pissed off about it that they decide to risk their lives in revolution. The only people willing to risk their lives so that their kin can avoid suffering are the best of all people, the philosopher-kings.

Before this happens, high-frequency young people will, in ever-greater numbers, reject Clown World in preference of simple lives away from the big cities (presaged today by the Chinese Lie Flat movement). These young people will have realised that money and pleasure do not provide meaningful happiness, following the example of voluntary poverty set by William James and Henry Thoreau. In seeing beyond the trappings of materialism, this cohort will have proven that it is fit to rule.

Away from the degeneracy of the cities, these young people will eventually form their own aristocratic and revolutionary culture, more excellent than anything that has gone before. So when the Globohomo Gayplex collapses, as it always does, these young aristocrats will surge into the halls of power, aided by all those who are glad to see the back of tyranny.

Our current position in Clown World can be understood as a point, found near -1 on the y axis, on a reverse sawtooth wave function. Our currently intense confusion and suffering presages a revolutionary vanguard of philosopher-kings. When the revolution comes and this aristocracy of philosopher-kings are installed as leaders, Clown World will end and a new spiritual golden age will begin.

How The Mainstream Media Stifles Dissent

Many regular followers of the mainstream media have noticed a pattern: every time any opposition to globohomo stands up, the media immediately rips into them. This is the result of a deliberate propaganda strategy, carried out by the ruling class, to stifle dissent by using the mainstream media as the gatekeepers of which ideas are allowed to be normalised. This essay explains how they do it.

The general rule is that anyone who stands up to represent their people, but without the approval of the owners of the mainstream media, will be smeared by that media as either insane or evil.

Noam Chomsky likes to point out that the mainstream media normalises opinions by limiting the opinions expressed, but allowing vigorous debate within those limitations. They do this by platforming people who have similar opinions, and then exaggerating the import of any differences. The impression created is that the true, reasonable position is between these two apparent poles.

The use of this strategy meant that dissenters could simply be ignored. Anyone outside the narrow window of acceptable opinion never had their voices heard, so their ideas never entered the mainstream consciousness. This strategy worked excellently until the rise of the alternative media, particularly the Internet-based alternative media, which allowed people to share content without corporate or governmental oversight.

Power is control of the minds of the masses. However, before one can gain that control, one must first gain the attention of the masses. The main power of the mainstream media is to gatekeep that attention. Alternative media, such as VJM Publishing, might produce higher-quality content, but we are not yet in a position to broadcast it to the masses. Despite this limitation, we can reach enough of them to force the mainstream media to adapt their strategy.

Their new strategy is simple: everyone who opposes the owners of the mainstream media is labelled insane or evil. Those are the two labels that get placed on every single free thinker, without exception. If they are incompetent, like most people are, they are labelled insane. Only the competent – and therefore, truly dangerous – are labelled evil.

The standard tactic is to find the most influential authority figure who is willing to smear the target as insane or evil, and then to give that figure a platform. An example is given in the image at the top of this article. The Groundswell protests do not have the approval of the globalists who own the media (unlike the Black Lives Matter protests), so the organisers of those get smeared as “crazy”.

The natural reaction of the average credulous pleb is to assume that the Groundswell organisers must actually be crazy, for, if that wasn’t true, an authority such as the leader of Federated Farmers would not have been allowed media space to make the claim. Surely such a bold statement, if false, would have been denounced by some other authority figure. It must therefore be true.

By featuring a cavalcade of authority figures disparaging the target, the media reduces the standing of the target in the mainstream consciousness. This reduces their influence, as people become shy to be associated with the next nutjob or the next Hitler. This makes it hard to get any resistance movement going.

Examples abound.

Sue Grey of the Outdoors Party regularly gets disparaged as insane, and has done ever since she came out in favour of cannabis law reform. Being female, and being associated with cannabis, she’s a prime target for accusations of mental illness. Reddit provides several examples of her being called a “wingnut” and multiple calls for her to be silenced or fined into oblivion.

Paddy Gower tried to smear Stefan Molyneux and Lauren Southern as evil, but he only succeeded in making himself look like a clown. That didn’t stop the rest of the mainstream media from referring to the Canadians as “far-right”. Anyone questioning the foremost addiction of the Western ruling classes – the addiction to cheap labour – is tarred with the Nazi brush.

The mainstream media has brought out the big guns for the ongoing protests by Australian tradesmen in Melbourne and other places – these protesters have been dismissed as both “conspiracy theorists” and “far-right”. The tradesmen are too obviously masculine and based to get dismissed as crackpots, so they get compared to Nazis. It’s an absurd comparison on the face of it, because the tradies are protesting for freedoms and the government is trying to impose authoritarianism. But not too absurd for Clown World.

In short, if a person is feminine or does drugs they’re written off as schizophrenic; if they are masculine or oppose the mass importation of cheap labour they’re written off as Nazis. Insane or evil – that’s how every alternative to the Establishment is smeared by their lackeys in the mainstream media.

The truth is that the dissenters are much less insane or evil than the current ruling class. Not only has the current Western ruling class built an economic system that is destroying the planet, but they’re happy to destroy any of us in order to keep that system running full speed. The mainstream media, and their owners, are more insane and evil than their targets.
