Five Aspects Of Masculinity

People are deeply confused today about what masculinity is. There are many differing thoughts, depending on the emotional maturity of the person thinking. Looking at masculinity from an alchemical point of view, there are five different aspects to be considered, corresponding to the top five steps of the Mithraic Ladder.

For young boys and emotionally retarded men, masculinity is about physical force, especially violence. The spiritually stunted tend to think of everything in terms of who could beat up who. These men represent the element of iron, at the third step of the Mithraic Ladder.

In pre-civilisational societies, or in societies of feral humans (such as criminal gangs), the dominance hierarchy is all about ferocity and physical strength. This sort of behaviour is masculine in a sense, but that’s only one very limited aspect of masculinity.

A higher kind of man grows out of the violence and learns how to make love. He represents the element of copper, which is the first of the precious metals on the Mithraic Ladder. Having realised, consciously or otherwise, that the point of fighting is to win women, the man of copper simplifies the procedure and simply works on making himself attractive to women.

Men who can readily attract women look down on brawlers as meatheads. If the meatheads take each other out, then the more women for the rest of us. In at least one major sense, men like this are far more masculine than the men of iron: they can attract women with less opposition.

A still higher kind of man grows out of cooming and learns social influence. The fifth step of the Mithraic Ladder is represented by silver, which is brilliant in comparison to the lowest four steps. This brilliance leads the man of silver to see a bigger picture, one that goes beyond mere dominance and pleasure to the creation of political structures.

Men at this level also look down on the brawler as a meathead, but on top of that they see the manwhore as a pointless coomer. The reasoning is that a man only needs one woman to have a family and children, so interacting with women beyond that is pointless unless one is seeking social influence.

A yet still higher kind of man judges his fellows on intelligence. Fighting, lovemaking and politics might entertain the gods to some extent, but they’re ultimately all mundane pleasures. Some rarer pleasures are only open to a few, no matter how hard they work. One of those pleasures is achieving a deep and accurate insight into the workings of Nature.

For men at this level, the level of mercury, mainstream interests no longer suffice. The aspect of mercury judges men on how far they have seen into the nature of reality. Fighting and lovemaking might be fun but they’re really for lower animals. Even gaining political power is barely respectworthy. The creative man, the one who can summon divine inspiration and transmute it into worldly forms, is higher than all of those.

The highest kind of man is spiritual. Men at this level are all but invisible to those who have not seen beyond. Despite this, their influence is the most powerful. These men of gold complete the divine calling begun by the men of mercury. The spiritual man has transcended the need to control the material world. Only the higher pleasures are still desired.

At the top level of the Mithraic Ladder, not even seeing beyond is enough. One must have fully integrated those visions, such that one’s own being radiates the divine. This is a conception of masculinity enormously far removed from the warrior at the level of iron. If the warrior imposes order upon the physical, the philosopher imposes order upon the metaphysical.

Complicating this admittedly one-dimensional view of masculinity are the great many bullshitters and bluffers. Because spiritual achievement is not something that can readily be measured, false gurus abound. The sour grapes of failing to assert oneself physically or sexually drives many a man to claim a spiritual acumen he doesn’t truly possess.

It must be emphasised that a man of true power is capable of representing all five of these aspects simultaneously, as per the needs of the situation. Plato may have been a superb philosopher, but he was also a superb wrestler. The completely masculine man is not limited to the level of gold, much less any other one of these five aspects.

These five conceptions of masculinity encompass the spectrum from most material to most spiritual. When times are tough, the men of iron will come to the fore. But when peace reigns, the men of gold start to shine through. The higher the proportion of men of gold in a society, the closer it is to divinity.

These five aspects of masculinity also correspond closely to Plato’s five stages of political decline, as described in Republic. Men of gold correspond to aristocracy, men of mercury to timocracy, men of silver to oligarchy, men of copper to democracy and men of iron to tyranny. Thus, the quality of any political system is primarily a reflection of the quality of the men who comprise it.

The Anglo-Judaic Empire

Making sense of geopolitics demands that people understand how the world has been arranged over the past 250 years. Many different great powers have come and gone in this time, but the most powerful one remains, namely: the alliance between Anglos and Jews. This the Anglo-Judaic Empire.

The infamous Rothschild family shot to prominence through profiteering off the Napoleonic Wars. Niall Ferguson wrote in The Ascent of Money: A Financial History of the World that the Rothschilds had single-handedly determined the outcome of the Napoleonic Wars in favour of Britain. The profits realised from this eventuality were colossal.

As a paper from Waikato University has shown (link goes to .pdf), Rothschild financiers played a key role in funding gold exploration in the early days of New Zealand, as they also did in Australia and South Africa. Rothschild finance powered colonial adventures in India as well.

Nathan Mayer Rothschild was the biggest name in these dealings. Mayer Amschel Rothschild instructed his five sons to take up a position in each of the major European nations; Nathan was the son assigned to Britain. Nathan established so much power that he was able to make the claim that he controlled the British Empire. It is in such arrangements that the Anglo-Judaic Empire has its genesis.

Were it not for Rothschild influence, Britain may never have had the power to colonise New Zealand, at least not to the extent that they did. Had the Rothschilds thrown their financial weight behind France in the Napoleonic Wars, then France would have likely been the superpower of the 19th Century, and New Zealand would have likely become French.

A 1929 article from the Otago Daily Times exemplifies the nature of this relationship. The article claims that the Rothschilds were instrumental in securing peace in Europe between the Napoleonic Wars and World War One. Whether true or not, it underlines the extent to which Anglos propagandise in support of their fellow imperialists.

During World War One, the Rothschilds played the major role in securing American support for the Allied war effort. The Balfour Declaration was a promise made by British Foreign Secretary Lord Balfour to British Zionist Lord Walter Rothschild in 1917, guaranteeing the Jews a “national home” in Palestine, then under the control of the Ottoman Empire. This national homeland, of course, later became known as Israel.

The Balfour Declaration won the support of world Jewry against the German Empire. As a consequence, German Jews stopped supporting the German war effort, leading to the collapse of the German Army in 1918. This withdrawal of support led to the “Dolchstosslegende” that was famous in inter-war Germany.

Such arrangements are at the heart of the Anglo-Judaic Empire. Anglo hard power and Jewish soft power combine to create a monster that now rules over the globe.

The immense toll paid by Britain in World War One led to the Anglo-Judaic Empire replacing the British Empire as the world’s leading power. This new alliance reached its zenith shortly after World War II. Having declared war upon, and then having defeated, their major European rival in Germany, there were no longer any major rivals to Anglo-Judaic control. As a consequence, the societies of the world have become Anglo-Judaised over the last 70 years. Anglo-Judaic values have promulgated.

One of the foremost of those values is near-total godlessness. Anglos and Jews are the two most godless people on Planet Earth. As a result, their pre-eminence has led to a decline in spirituality all around the world. This is most clearly seen in modern psychiatry, which has been warped by Anglos and Jews into a materialist mockery of the supposed “healing of the soul”.

Near-total godlessness is also seen in the near-total absence of belief in reincarnation and karma, and the resulting soulless scrabble for money that characterises life in the Anglo-Judaic Empire’s constituent countries. In the Anglo-Judaic Empire, merit is a question of wealth. No-one cares about learning, wisdom, devotion, rectitude or character. Hence why a multibillionaire is odds-on favourite to win the American Presidential Election next year.

A related value is usury. The Anglo-Judaic Empire has enslaved the world through usury, including their own populations, who can no longer afford houses. In Australia, Canada and New Zealand, younger generations are effectively locked out of housing unless they inherit (see this article for an examination of how bad it is in New Zealand).

Perhaps the most salient Anglo-Judaic value is globalism. The Anglos were the first to build an empire that spanned the entire globe, so for them globalism feels natural. Jews, for their part, love globalism as it provides a blueprint for their long-held goal of destroying all the nations of the world and bringing them under a one world government controlled by world Jewry. The Anglo-Judaic alliance is natural as long as globalism is a major factor.

Today, the workings of the Anglo-Judaic Empire are most visible when it comes to the Empire’s unquestioning support for Israel.

America gifts billions to Israel annually, one of the major reasons why Israel can afford universal healthcare for its citizens, something America cannot (seemingly, at least). This is hard to make sense of if you think of America and Israel as separate countries. It’s easy to understand once you realise that Israel is a frontier outpost of the Anglo-Judaic Empire.

The Project For A New American Century, as part of which mostly Jewish intellectuals convinced the gormless George W Bush to invade Iraq, was the most impactful Anglo-Judaic action this century. That Anglo politicians are still invading countries on mostly Jewish orders shows that the Anglo-Judaic Empire is still the world’s major force as of 2023.

The Anglo-Judaic Empire is also clearly visible through American soft power, especially Hollywood. The Anglo-Jewish alliance uses Hollywood to normalise their cultural values across the world. This is why movies such as Schindler’s List are made into cultural icons.

With the decline of Christianity in the Anglosphere, Anglos no longer see Jews as God’s chosen race. This is the split that will eventually destroy the Anglo-Judaic Empire. Without Christianity, there is no strong reason to care about Israel. Neither is there any reason to see Jews as wise elder brothers in faith.

The future of the Anglo-Judaic Empire seems to have a set course already. Inevitably this empire will attack China before China overtakes it, as could be predicted by anyone aware of Thucydides’s Trap. What happens after then is anyone’s guess.

The Point Of Pushing A Language You Don’t Understand Is To Humiliate You

Most people have noticed all the Boomers getting mad recently about Maori language. Those of us who don’t watch the news have trouble comprehending the extent to which Boomers feel humiliated by non-English language use in mainstream media. The tendency among the young is to laugh in mockery, but there is a sinister agenda behind the control system’s actions.

It’s true that it’s humiliating being spoken to in a language you don’t understand. It feels very much like being a child again, helpless and not respected. It also feels like when you’re out of your depth intellectually, when you are stupid.

In either case, it’s a deeply disempowering and unsettling experience for most people (those of us who have lived in non-English speaking areas for a while usually don’t care, but few are privileged enough to have such an experience). Especially for those old enough to have already developed a grievance about the degree of future shock that modern life placed them under.

However, humiliating the plebs is precisely why the ruling class push languages that aren’t understood.

Theodore Dalrymple once stated that “In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better.”

The Communists today are now part of Globohomo, the authoritarian Communist-Capitalist alliance that rules over Clown World. The logic of authoritarianism, however, is the same. Just as the schoolyard bully and the domestic tyrant induce submission through abuse, so too does the authoritarian government.

They can’t get away with corporal punishment anymore, so they focus on psychological punishment. Humiliation is the major component of that.

It is always authoritarians who bully people into pronouncing words the way those authoritarians want them pronounced. The libertarian is happy to let people pronounce words different ways, just like they’re happy to let people follow different religions. It’s just culture, part of the rich smorgasbord of life. Not so the authoritarian.

For the authoritarian, it’s always a matter of “respect” that you do what you’re told. You have to kneel down and obey your masters otherwise someone, somewhere, will be disrespected.

The authoritarian puts signs up telling the local people how to pronounce their own street names (see image at top, from outside the Nelson Library). As per the Dalrymple quote, it doesn’t correspond to reality to state that the people who live somewhere don’t know how to pronounce their own streets and neighbourhoods, and that they need to be told by the Government. But stating such absurdities increases the humiliation, so they do it.

The message is that you are too stupid to know how to pronounce your own streets and neighbourhoods. Therefore, you have to be taught the same way you were taught basic life lessons in kindergarten.

The implication is that everything about your culture might prove to be wrong. If you didn’t even know how to pronounce your own street, how can you be sure that free speech is really important?

The undertone is simple: you don’t belong here.

Forcing Maori language serves to remind the majority of New Zealand that this is someone else’s country. No matter how long your ancestors have lived here, you don’t really belong. Therefore, there’s no need to struggle for freedom or dignity. There’s no need to fight to rid New Zealand of political corruption. Just give up!

This is also why the control system tirelessly hounds you about pronouncing words incorrectly. If you have to be told, over and over again, how to pronounce Tauranga correctly, maybe you’re stupid? And, if you’re stupid, maybe the Government should just get on with things without needing your input?

Same deal with putting Maori language first on road signs and the names of Government departments. The whole point of this is not to encourage Maori langauge use. The point is to humiliate and, through humiliation, to induce submission to the ruling class.

None of this is an argument against the Maori language. I agree that te reo is a treasure and that learning to speak it will open up new avenues of thought. I agree that there are concepts in Maori that non-Maoris would benefit from learning. I agree that bilingual children tend to be smarter and have a much easier time learning further languages.

The best way to promote it, however, would be to emphasise such rational and logical arguments without force. That way, there wouldn’t be such a powerful counterreaction to it.

The force, however, is the point, because it humiliates. Humiliation engenders submission, which is the end goal of authoritarians everywhere.

The Politics Of The 21st Century Have To Be Grounded In Known Psychological Science

Politics has been, since the beginning, a seat-of-the-pants enterprise. Although the West has produced Aristotle, Marcus Aurelius, Machiavelli and others, the modern Western leader reads nothing of these men, preferring to just make everything up as they go along. But in the age of advanced science, it’s possible to have a political philosophy grounded in empirical observation.

More specifically, it has to be grounded in known psychological science. Modern psychological science gives us insights into human nature that were completely unavailable to philosophers in times past. Aristotle knew nothing of sociobiology. A sociobiologist standing on Aristotle’s shoulders could give us a vision of our own nature that was broader and deeper than ever before.

A failure to understand human nature is the common theme running through all failed political ideologies.

Communism failed because its architects failed to understand that people are always at least a little bit selfish, and cannot simply be conditioned to behave otherwise by propaganda. A system set up on the basis that people are perfectly altruistic will inevitably collapse into corruption and widespread distrust when rhetoric doesn’t match reality.

Capitalism is failing because its architects failed to understand that people would rather drop out of the system than get worked to death paying for rents and taxes. A system set up on the basis that workers can be employed for 50 hour weeks without the ability to own homes, yet will still have the motivation to work, also doesn’t match reality.

Historically, political philosophy has not been grounded on an accurate view of human nature, because there was no formalised science of understanding human nature. Machiavelli might have been correct when he said that human nature doesn’t change from time to place, but not enough people listen to Machiavelli.

Today’s psychological science, however, can predict human behaviour with frightening accuracy. The Amazon, Google and FaceBook algorithms can predict your next purchase before you even think about it. They can tell you who you’re going to vote for before you’ve even decided. It’s a thousand times more advanced than the knowledge Karl Marx would have had access to.

A modern political philosophy must be grounded in what we now know about human nature. This means: grounded in a psychological science that has a particular emphasis on man’s origin as a naked ape (hat tip to Desmond Morris).

Fundamentally, such an approach understands that the human animal evolved social structures as part of the battle for resources that all animals must engage in. It has to be made explicit that political questions are usually just questions of resource distribution, the same questions that man-ape chieftains would have wrestled with even before civilisation. Unfair resource distribution stirs up very deep, primal instincts that can rapidly become destructive. Therefore it’s important to get politics right.

It has to be taken seriously, and that means scientifically.

The curious thing is that a properly scientific approach appears to favour neither the left nor the right.

Developmental psychology tells us that hitting children, and most other forms of corporal punishment, have extremely bad outcomes for those children. There are strong correlations between getting hit as a child and ending up with antisocial personality disorders or suicidal depression. Hitting kids is right up there with fucking them as one of the worst things you can do. Therefore it ought not to be legal.

Developmental psychology also suggests that societies would benefit from making life less financially stressful for mothers of newborns. In America, where it’s sink or swim, mothers of newborns are often put under extreme financial stress. This leads to much higher rates of child abuse and neglect in comparison to, say, the Scandinavian countries, where mothers of newborns receive adequate financial aid. The end result is more mentally damaged people. So a slight tax increase, with the money invested into early child care, is likely to pay for itself many times over.

Such findings might favour leftist policies, but other findings don’t.

Psychometrics tell us that intelligence is about 80% genetic, and therefore education can only raise it to a limited degree. So importing people from countries where the average IQ is 85, and expecting their kids to turn out the same as ours just because we put them in the same schools, is a recipe for national suicide.

Western immigration politics since World War II has been based on the assumption that all human groups are genetically the same, therefore can be exchanged for each other like so many replaceable parts. Psychometrics has given us a blackpill that we need to swallow: many populations with average IQs under 100 are never going to adjust to modern Western life. We have to stop importing them.

Evolutionary psychology says that multiculturalism is bound to fail because people stop co-operating once they no longer have meaningful bonds of kinship with their surrounding population. So large, multicultural cities like New York, Los Angeles or London could have been predicted to have ended up soulless free-for-alls, as they did.

Evolutionary psychology also tells us that individuals within the same family can vary greatly in IQ thanks to genetic recombination. Even if a group of parents all had IQs of 100, some 2% of their offspring would have IQs above 130, and a similar number would have IQs below 70. Their children might have a mean IQ of 100, but individuals will vary a lot from this average.

This natural variation in individual intelligence means that we cannot have, for instance, families in which every member was expected to become a doctor. Neither can we have racial exclusions such that members of certain races were banned from, or restricted to, certain professions. Such arrangements would be monstrously inefficient given natural variation in intelligence.

Ethology shows us that many different animals use drugs to get high, therefore a War on Drugs is unnatural. Altering the contents of consciousness through the use of psychoactives seems to be as natural as anything else is, perhaps reflecting the Elementalist belief that the world was dreamed up to entertain the gods in the first place. Banning the use of drugs, then, is as futile as banning sex. People will do it anyway.

Grounding a new vision of politics in psychological science could solve many problems. First and foremost it would solve the problems arising from basing a political philosophy on an inaccurate conception of human nature.
