Has Firearms Confiscation Failed Like Cannabis Prohibition?

The amnesty period for the recent firearms confiscation in New Zealand has just ended. Early estimates suggest that fewer than half of the recently-banned firearms have been handed in, which means that some 100,000 Kiwis are now criminals. This essay asks: if the New Zealand people aren’t going to obey the new firearms law because they don’t consider it legitimate, is enforcing it even feasible?

No people are obliged to obey immoral laws.

Intuitive recognition of this natural law of morality is why cannabis prohibition has failed in New Zealand. The people of New Zealand feel that they have the inherent right to use cannabis, and therefore they don’t care about the manmade laws prohibiting it. The people who follow and enforce these laws, not the ones that break them, are the ones who shall incur the karmic debt.

This widespread refusal to submit to cannabis prohibition has made the law unenforceable. Not only do Kiwis continue to use cannabis, but they regularly collaborate to help each other evade law enforcement. Although people getting ratted out for cannabis offences is still very common, it’s not routine like it is for offences that actually harm people. So for every cannabis user arrested, a hundred more people become cannabis users.

In a system such as ours, our politicians are supposed to be representatives of the public will. Therefore, the New Zealand people feel that politicians who do not follow the public will are acting in bad faith, and that these politicians do not need to be respected. Overseas, such sentiments regularly lead to violence and civil unrest. Consequently, our politicians try to make sure that they’re seen respecting the public will.

This is part of the unwritten contract that prevents we, the people, from killing them. We have the right to kill anyone trying to enslave us, as per the Iron Tenet of anarcho-homicidalism, and anyone refusing to accept our legitimate will is trying to enslave us. The ruling class understand this, which is why they are now giving way on the question of cannabis prohibition.

The problem is that it’s starting to look as if the public will is against the new firearms prohibitions. The New Zealand Council of Licenced Firearms Owners estimates that, although some 56,000 weapons have been surrendered, there are still 100,000 that have not been. There are also suggestions that, of the 56,000 rifles surrendered, many were effectively useless anyway.

The question raised by the refusal to hand in the now-prohibited firearms is this: if the New Zealand people refuse to submit to the new firearms prohibitions, are these laws any more enforceable than the cannabis laws? In other words, is it possible that widespread defiance of the new firearms prohibitions could lead to their withdrawal in the future?

There are already counter-movements to the firearms crackdowns.

The New Conservatives have promised to repeal the recent changes to the firearms laws. VJM Publishing has declared the ownership of weapons to be an inherent human right granted by God, as part of the Sevenfold Conception of Human Rights. Predictably, a large proportion of rural dwellers are against tightening firearms prohibition, with many having stashed weapons away.

There is one major difference between the cannabis laws and the firearms laws. It’s much harder to prohibit something that grows in the ground from a seed than it is to prohibit precision instruments that have to be manufactured overseas in a dedicated factory and then imported.

The New Zealand Police might calculate, therefore, that if they smash a few Kiwis in high-profile firearms raids, and co-ordinate this with a mainstream media propaganda campaign calling the targets “white supremacists,” the remainder will submit.

After all, it took ninety years of utter futility, wasting billions of dollars and many millions of manhours, before it was admitted that cannabis prohibition was a failure. So there’s no reason to think that the New Zealand ruling class will lightly give up their ambitions to render the population harmless through firearms prohibition. Even if it has failed, they will not readily admit it.

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter what laws are forced on us by our ruling classes. The Police will attack any Kiwi that the ruling class tells them to attack, but if repeated attacks don’t change the people’s behaviour, then there’s good reason to think that it won’t ever change. This has already been proven true with the failed attempts to prohibit homosexuality, prostitution and cannabis use.

The next few years will see a battle between the will of the ruling class, expressed through the actions of the New Zealand Police, and the will of the Kiwi nation who will be targeted by those actions. If the New Zealand people utterly refuse to co-operate with the new firearms prohibitions, then the ruling class might be forced to concede that those prohibitions are unenforceable.

  1. I thought about this for a couple days, really analyzed our predicament. What they are trying to eliminate is the ‘right of self defense’. Anarcho-Homicialism is not, at its most fundamental level, is simply the right to defend your body or your family against aggression. When I realized that I began to analyze all of the different methods and means that were employed to destroy the ‘right of self defense’. It was like the ideology of self defense was suffering death by 1,000 cuts. I slowly began to marvel at the insidious creep of their ideology (and faculty to genocide on command once this fundamental right is taken forever). Let me give you a few examples.
I took a gun safety class recently (which I am convinced was taught by the CIA or something) but in that class they had hundreds of different ‘regulations’ on when it was acceptable to defend yourself and when it wasn’t, minute hair splitting ‘judgements’ about what was ‘acceptable self defense’. I finally got frustrated in the class and mentioned that you would have to do so many calculations if ‘this self defense’ met the criteria of actual self defense that you would be dead by the time you were done, since most situations involving gun self defense take less than 3 seconds. It wasn’t like, there is someone breaking and entering my house at 3am…FIRE AWAY! No, there was a regulation governing every single criteria of aggression and classification of self defense. It was crippling rather than empowering.
Here is another example from religion (and I am giving this one intentionally because it shows that this ‘agenda’ was alive and well 2,000 years ago, so the war against self defense has been waged since then), “But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.” Resistance to evil is a fundamental right of life. If you do not resist evil then evil will dominate. Who would want to live in a world like that?
People should be asking what is the fundamental goal that these shitbirds are aiming for by taking away the right of self defense from all of humanity? Only a horrible genocidal psychopath would even consider such a thing? I think we might be in more trouble than we know given the pervasive psychological manipulation of humanity to ‘give up their right to self defense’. Clearly there is something unnatural and alien to Life happening on this planet. I used to think that maybe 100,000 people would survive this agenda, but based on this new assessment and looking at the history of the psychological manipulation, I don’t think it is going to be even that many.
A python never constricts its coils until the animal it is strangling exhales. It waits until that very moment to exert pressure because that means the animal will not be able to inhale as much air again. This is how they suffocate their prey. Incrementally.
It is well known based on LeBon’s work that humanity cannot distinguish incremental changes that are detrimental to them at all. So like the python, these shitbirds are incrementally suffocating us in order to get ‘free reign’ to do to us whatever they please without any ability to defend or recourse on our part. Hell is overthrowing this planet.

    1. > Hell is overthrowing this planet.

It’s certainly true that our Great War is a spiritual war. The first order of things, in my opinion, is to reconnect with the divine through re-establishing the Eleusinian Mysteries.

Part of the strangle strategy is that everyone who points it out is written off as an “alarmist”. Shitbirds is very much right.

      1. >re-establishing the Eleusinian Mysteries
This keeps coming up periodically in my research and I am totally uneducated about what it means, this is really bothering me because everything I have looked at thus far is so vague (meaning they aren’t imparting that knowledge publicly or in a way I relate to yet, and perfectly honestly, I am at fault for not taking a break and examining it more thoroughly) so I can’t actually put any pieces together; it is all amorphous and cloudy.

This actually dovetails really nicely with something else I am working on that involves Blythos and Aphros (as representatives of Poseidon; linked through Eileithyia [amazing how close that is to Aletheia/’Truth’] who also ties into the Elysian mysteries). So for you the Truth is accessible through the psychedelics interaction inside the individual (the proverbial ‘know thyself’; Terence McKenna style) or is there more to the Eleusinian Mysteries?

Would you consider making a post about it or pointing me in the right direction if you have already made one? I haven’t made it through the book “Best of VJMP 2019” or your web site yet. Since one of my favorite web sites just died a tragic death. I would like to keep an eye on you and Viktor and keep in contact with you though since you have found a Truth and were not afraid to speak it (that is rare these days).

        1. The psychedelics are a big part of it. The other big part is that, when a candidate for the Mysteries is in a suggestible state from the psychedelics, they are instructed about the secret occult teachings by people who are already initiated. This might involve the priests of the Mysteries putting on a small play that demonstrated the fall of the divine spirit into the material world, followed by the redemption of that spirit as it overcame the material.

          1. That sounds really lovely, like a wonderful experience.
I wish I handled psychedelic’s better. I would be very surprised if I could sit through a small play or pay any attention to instruction while on them. Is there an alternative for people who don’t handle them well? What percent of people are capable of receiving the mystery?

          2. > Is there an alternative for people who don’t handle them well?

Imo you can achieve through cannabis and meditation anything you can achieve through psychedelics.

            > What percent of people are capable of receiving the mystery?

Unknown. I’d suggest that the higher the percentage, the closer to a spiritual Golden Age society is.
